I wrote this originally in 2011 for the birth of my daughter Elizabeth Marie, and it sat for 13 years until I heard my men’s group the AcaFellas at Pius sing the “Our Father” I had written, and I modified and made this a really special arrangement to be debuted on Mother’s Day of 2024.
The Ave Maria traditional chant you may recognize is quoted in the introduction, and is one of my favorite chants, then the rest is my original work. I especially love the Amen!
